We kindly present you the weekly economic publications of the Student Scientific Club “Finance and Economy”. In the Newsletter No. 48, among others: slight downturn in consumer trade, BMW and Daimler investment in Poland, better forecasts for exports, lower profits of banks, Bank Pekao is formally “Polish”, Chinese financial supervision will cooperate with Polish, the tax freedom day is earlier, zloty strengthens slightly, prices of oil and gold slightly down. In addition: the latest macroeconomic data and maps on renewable energy and investment in environmental protection in Poland and in EU countries. In the Review No. 21 – China restores currency reserves, unemployment drops in Greece, WalMart launches mobile food vending machines, weaker GDP growth in Australia and Philippines improve consumer sentiment. In the forex market, election results weakened the British pound.
